Achievement Badges
Points tell players how much they've accumulated. Badges tell players who they are.
What Badges Can Do That Points Can't
Loyalty points reward spend and visits with a currency that can be redeemed. Badges reward behaviour with recognition — and recognition, for many players, carries its own value. A regular who's been attending your Tuesday session for three years doesn't need another discount. They need to feel seen.
Planned badge categories
include milestone achievements (10th visit, 50th visit, 1-year membership anniversary), attendance streaks (five consecutive sessions, monthly perfect attendance), and event participation (jackpot night regular, fundraising event attendee). These are bingo-native milestones, not borrowed from eCommerce or fitness apps.
Badges create goals
Badges also create something that points alone don't: a reason to keep a streak going. A player who's 3 sessions away from a "25 Visit" badge has a specific, visible goal. That goal drives attendance decisions in ways that a points balance often doesn't.
What We're Building
Achievement badges will be configurable by operators — you define which milestones matter in your hall and what they're called. Badge display will be visible to players through their member profile and can be referenced in SMS communications (for example, congratulating a player on earning a milestone badge).
Integration
Integration with the existing loyalty and segmentation system means badge holders can be identified as a segment and targeted with relevant offers — a VIP invite campaign for players who've earned a "100 Sessions" badge, for instance.
